| Best Game of All Time | Quake 2 | This game has everything: great weapons, great maps, expandability, an awesome soundtrack, excellent graphics... I could go on forever! |
| Worst Game of All Time | Pretzel Pete | Words can not describe how aweful this game is. It has the crappiest graphics I've ever seen, as well as a pretty stupid story. This game is just terrible. If you don't believe me, then download the demo. |
| Best 3D Shooter | Quake 2 | It should make sense that my favorite game of all time would be my favorite of its genre :) |
| Best Real-Time Strategy | Warcraft 2 | I was originally going to give this award to Starcraft, but then I realized that Warcraft 2 really deserves it. While the graphics might not be quite as good, and there are aren't as many unique units, Warcraft 2 was much better at pulling me into the story and making me want to continue on to the next mission. Starcraft is an excellent game, but Warcraft 2 is a classic that will probably hold its throne for quite a while. |
| Best Adventure Game | The Curse of Monkey Island | This game has nice graphics, a good plot, AWESOME voice acting, and a completely hilarious script. Without a doubt, the best of the Monkey Island series. |
| Best RPG | Diablo | A good story-line and multiplayer option made this a great game. The voice acting sucked a little, though. |
| Best Flight Sim | TIE Fighter Collector's CD | Maybe this game is more of a Space Combat Sim, but I still like it more than any flight sim I've ever played. There are some really fun missions and a plot that definitely does justice to the Star Wars universe. |
| Best Single-Player | Half-Life | This game has one of the best story-lines I've ever encountered. The character interaction is great and so is the use of scripted sequences. This one plays almost like a movie. |
| Best Multiplayer | Quake 2 | Not only is the normal deathmatch mode fun, but hundreds of modifications are available to download for free, giving this game a REALLY high replay value. |
| Most Enthralling | Heroes of Might & Magic 2 | This game is so easy to get sucked into. It's easy to learn, but at the same time it's really complex. If you haven't played it yet, you should give it a try. |

| Weirdest Game | Worms 2 | A turn-based strategy game in which you control a bunch of worms with guns and explosives. This game can be almost as addictive as Quake 2. You absolutely have to try this one! |
| Most Violent Game | Grand Theft Auto | The only reason that this beat Quake 2, Half-Life, etc. is because it is a little more realistic. This game rocks! You run around a city, steal cars, shoot cops and pedestrians, complete missions for crime bosses, and get into cool car chases. A must-have for all serious gamers. |
| Biggest Let-Down | Unreal | Although this game had some really great graphics, I felt that the gameplay was fairly poor and the weapons balance sucked. I think that this game was talked up way too much and didn't quite live up to it's title of "Quake 2 Killer." |
| Funniest Game | You Don't Know Jack | These games are hilarious! It's even funny at the beginning when you're entering your name. |
